Born in 1976 in Dumfries, Scotland, Victoria grew
up with a passionate interest in the world of
design, particularly focusing on the discipline
of fashion. From school she went on to study at
the Scottish College of Textiles, and gained a
BSC Honours Degree in Fashion and Textile Design
Management.
In 1999 Victoria moved to Birmingham
to take up a position as a professional fashion
designer. She enjoyed regular travel, visiting
suppliers and customers throughout the UK, Italy
and US. These experiences proved an invaluable
source of inspiration for her painting.
Inspired by personal experience
and travel, Victoria uses intense acrylic colours
to create vibrant paintings in a monochromatic
style. Incorporating various focal points within
formal parameters, Victoria explores pattern and
texture and leads the eye across the canvas in
an irresistible journey of discovery.
Working largely with wide edge
canvas, Victoria accepts commissions to create
pieces of any size and colour. Her vibrant paintings
are on display across the UK.
